To be actively in actions related to firefighting, rescue injurers and to limit damages to the lowest caused by the fire and explosion, in August, 25th 2017, An Lac Special Automobile Mechanical Enterprise (SP. SAMCO) had collaborated with Binh Tan District Fire Police Department to hold a rehearsal for firefighting and rescue at at company’s workplace located at 36 Kinh Duong Vuong street, An Lac ward, Binh Tan district, HCMC.

Participating in this year’s rehearsal, there was a special attendance of Mr. Dang Que Hung, Director of SP. SAMCO company, employees from all working facilities and Firefighters from District Fire Department. The drill is an annual activity of SP. SAMCO in order to enhance awareness along with basic skills about prevention of fire and explosion for staff members and workers of the company, ensure safety in daily production activities.

The rehearsal would equip for factory employees with basic knowledge about firefighting, rescue victim, first aid skills and the ways to extinguish the fire when such incident occurred. At the same time re-evaluation company aiding and firefighting equipment. During the drill, both local and pro firefighting forces worked together to handle assuming situations caused fire. District force also gave instruction to attendance on how to use aerosol fire extinguisher effectively as well as giving aid to injurers in right manner.

The District Firefighting Department also mobilized 2 firefighting truck along with officers to collaborate with local firefighting force, quickly deployed formation then used hydraulic fountain and spray foam to extinguish the fire.

At the end of drill, leader of Firefighting Department and Board of Directors of company had held a meeting to reviews, reevaluate and to combine experiences collected throughout the drill. At the same time tightened the bond between local and District Firefighters. According to report of the Board of rehearsal, the practice was taken seriously, followed by technical and safety instructions from Elite force. Local force had made it quickly, precisely and collaborated smoothly with District Firefighters. 

This rehearsal aimed to raise consciousness about fire and explosion safety protocol for SP. SAMCO staffs; thus to check the firefighting equipment, basic knowledge, vehicles, tools… and to enhance coordination between local fire force with the Elite ones, always ready to handle the situations when fire and explosion incident happen.
